GAY PRIDE 1974

In 1974 CHAT hosted Gay Pride Week events and GATE held the Gay Pride March. Toronto gay politics being what it was, the CHAT Pride schedule makes no mention of the march but nevertheless they did have a small contingent in it. GATE held its Pride dance at Holy Trinity Church in downtown Toronto, where the first CHAT dances were held in 1971-2.
